About Young Acat

Young ACAT Stand Up For Human Rights is a section of ACAT* Luxembourg that aims to raise awareness of human rights among young people with different origins and backgrounds living in Luxembourg.

Young ACAT Stand Up For Human Rights

  • Provides information about topical human rights issues,
  • Makes human rights visible (exhibitions, etc),
  • Provides safe spaces for creative expression and cross-cultural encounters (Free Artistic Expression cultural programme, concerts, etc),
  • Promotes intercultural and interfaith exchanges of views (dialogue with Coexister, LLL,etc).

Who we are

Project Leader

Christina Fabian

Christina Fabian was born in Germany in 1959 and has lived in Luxembourg with her family since 1989. She has taught religious and social studies at Ecole Privee Fieldgen for 30 years.She also teaches Creative writing and has received training in integrative Gestalt psychotherapy.She has been the chairwoman of ACAT Luxembourg since 2018. With the starting up Young ACAT Stand up for human rights,her focus is on promoting human rights education and awareness

Project Coordinator

Tatev Margaryan

Tatev Margaryan was born in Armenia in 1978 and has been living with her family in Luxembourg since 2016. She is a cultural anthropologist and has been working as a trainer/youth worker for the Council of Europe Youth Department, promoting human rights projects for over 20 years. At present she is a manager ofthe FSL(Formation etSensibilisation de Luxembourg) and acts as freelance educational advisor.
